♠ === Mountain Climbing === ♠

The landscape behind me is all covered with snow. I was in Mt.Halla, Cheju, last winter vacation with my coworkers. I had been really anxious to visit there before. And I made it, especially feeling so happy with that much snow. It was considerably difficult for me to ascend the mountain because my male comrades forced me to follow them with full speed, even though they sometimes gave me their hands to help me(^^;). I felt so satisfied with getting through when I arrived at the refuge named "Jindalrae sanjang".
(Don't you think I look like a burglar in this picture?^^)

Q: Have you ever climbed a mountain in snow? If ever, what was it like?

Hi, Michelle!

I had military service in Kangwon province, Cheulwon and Hwacheon. So I had to climb Geukgeon mountain where my camp was located after some military training. In winter, because we lived in the peak and had no water, we usually went down and took some water to drink and wash. And whenever it snowed in the mountain, we weren't happy. We had to sweep snow away on the road all day long. The view was great but I didn't like snow then.^^

The New Year Dat in Every year, so many people climb the mountain to face the the new Sun of the year and pray for their whihes of the year. I sometimes climb the mountain at dawn on that day.
We can enjoy the clod but very fresh and giving hope air to us.
How about coming Seosan to climb Kaya!!!

Yeah..I love to go and climb mountains covered with snow, too. As you know, Kangwon area has many beautiful mountains around. So whenever it snows, I always try to get any mountain with my wife. The experiences give me wonderful feelings(..such as ecstasy^^) and chances to relieve my stresses. Do you enjoy skiing? Shall we go skiing in this winter? HoHoHo~

I used to climb a mountain once a month some years ago. It's sad I don't have time to climb mountains these days. The highest one I've ever climbed is Fuji mountain in Japan. It was in July in Summer. But the top of the mountain was covered with snow. Snow in hot summer. It was so fantastic. I was there in the place you'd come across in pictures for tourists. I experienced four seasons while I was climbing the mountain because the weather changed as we climbed.

What a beautiful picture. You look like an explorer.

When I was younger, I went snow camping in the mountains. We learned survival skills and had a great time.

Hi Michelle,
I just wanted to explain a little further about editing images in your blog. For places like the heading, you need to edit the photo in another photo editing software such as photoshop or paint. If you can't get it done, let me know and I'll do it for you.

Michelle~~!
You are so great to climb Mt.Hanra.
I've climbed it three times. But they were all in winter.
You look brave and happy on the top of the winter mountain.
Soon I hope you to go again with your boyfriend not with co-workers.
Someday I'd like to climb it in winter.

Hi, Michelle!
You look better in the picture than in the class room where you look like a academic model student. Sorry for not having helped your posting a lovely picture on the background. To tell the truth, I happened to post it, so I don't know how to. Anyway, your blog is also beautiful. I love music, picture, dance and sports including hiking. I hope my classmates have various beautiful blogs and we enjoy visiting there.
I have been on hiking in Jiri mountain and Halla in the winter. The peaks were full of snow and I could enjoyed beautiful snow flower with shining sunlight. In addition, there were very few people, so it was so fantastic to be remote from people and be a part of nature. When we are still healthy and young, let's challenge many things and enjoy them as much as we could.
